Strength & Stretch Workout with Jessica Smith

I find this workout to be truly beautiful.  I know it's a strange thing to say about a workout but it's true.  I felt the same amazing feeling that I get after a great yoga flow workout but this isn't yoga.  This takes a lot of very slow pilates-inspired movements and then right after the focused work is done, then we stretch the muscle we just worked.  So we work and then we stretch, all the way from the upper body to the lower body.  Work then stretch.  It's an amazing feeling to get so focused in the muscle work and then really focus on releasing it during the stretch.

I feel relaxed and invigorated at the same time.  That's a wonderfully unique feeling.  One I tend to cherish since life can get so crazy at times.
